Eskitones
I know we threatened it for a long time but this time we meant it! Yep, the Ringtones have now been added and can be found by clicking on the Downloads Tab. There's currently four to choose from but the fun doesn't stop there. For a two week period only (ending Friday 8th June) we're giving you the chance to have your own personal Eskitone. Have a listen through the album and find your favourite section you'd like as a ringtone. E-mail us at the usual address with the details. State what song and in minutes and seconds what section you'd like as your own personal Eskitone (maximum of 60 second period). We'll then do the necessaries and e-mail you back your Eskitone in mp3 format, for you to transfer to your phone. It's a one-off offer so get your ears and arses in gear and take us up on it!
That so called difficult second album Recent progress has been slow due to the recent good weather. Why spend the day in a claustrophobic vocal booth when you can up sticks to Cornwall for sun, sea and surf in April! But we're back now and with all the backing tracks just about finished there's only vocals and mixing to go. (So only about 2 years till the release date then, snail boys?)
Ringtones After finally convincing Phil that the average person doesn't sit at home editing all their favourite albums to create their own personalised ringtones he's relented and has agreed to make some of his Degrees of Happiness ring tones available through the site. He should be uploading them over the next couple of days so check back later this week if you're interested.
Happy Christmas We'd like to wish all of you a very happy Christmas and an even better new year for 2007. The future can sometimes seem daunting, but I've found growing my fringe has helped, as I can no longer see what's coming. Unfortunately I'm developing an aversion to surprises and find the unexpected fur-balls are not socially acceptable. Have a good one, see you in 2007, Eskimo
September Yes some more days in September have now been added to the second album diary. Just click on the link above to catch up on progress so far. Rumour has it that things are going rather well… to hear a new demo called 'Dreaming' visit the downloads page!!!!!!
New Years Resolution I solemnly swear that I shall try to type up extracts from my recording diary on a more regular basis. I scribble down all sorts of rubbish but never get round to up loading it so to speak - note to self - must do better!!
party on! A huge thanks to all of you who made it to the Monkey’s Forehead to celebrate Brass Monkey Music’s first official release. Eskimo Project’s first album ‘Degrees of happiness’ came out on the 4th September and the party the following Saturday will live long in the memory. Highlight of the night was the ice breaking cocktail ‘Yellow Snow’, which once introduced to the proceedings certainly stepped up the festivities a notch or three. It was great to see so many old friends and even better to make a few new ones. For those of you unlucky not to have been able to make it, the night was such a success that plans are already afoot to do something bigger and better in the future. So please watch this space for details.
share certificates Application forms for share certificates have been landing in our PO box at regular intervals over the last few weeks but we are currently unable to send them out to you due to a small legal hiccup which we hope to overcome in the near future. Legal big-wigs have informed us that our original wording would have left both yourselves and BMM open to exploitation and we are currently working to close this loophole. We feel this is important as we want you to become genuine shareholders in BMM and so for this reason we will not be mailing your share certificates until we can guarantee this to be the case. Please don’t worry, your share certificates will be winging their way to you just as soon as we find a solution.
return to the studio With all the hullabaloo surrounding the release of ‘Degrees’ our emergent 2nd album has had to take something of a back seat but we will be heading back into the studio any day now to record the final drum takes. If all goes well we should have a few new demos to post in a couple of weeks and hopefully a few interesting diary entries to boot.
yellow snow (Eskimo Kiss) Vodka

It tastes something like a screaming orgasm. (A big round of applause to Frank and Johnny for their creative genius).
eskimo diary With the official release of 'degrees of happiness' not far away, our thoughts are already turning towards completion of our 2nd album. Visit the diary page to find out how things are progressing and to hear rough demos of some of the songs we've been working on.
let a little love into your life! The track 'Together' from the forth-coming album 'degrees of happiness' is to be released on 24/07/06 as a promotional radio single. To hear or download the new slim-line version of the song, simply click on the link opposite. If your favourite radio station is not yet playing the single then fire off a salvo of e-mails in their general direction, gently reminding them that if they don't yet have a copy, they too can download it for free, from here or our myspace site at www.myspace.com/eskimoproject. So they really have no excuse.
degrees of happiness Our first album degrees of happiness will be released on the 4/09/06, largely in response to your constant badgering that it should be made available to a far wider audience. The album has now been re-packaged and will be available through brassmonkeymusic.com and eskimoproject.com prior to that date and included with the first 1000 will be an application form allowing you to apply for shares in Brass Monkey Music. We have a full promotional campaign in place but any ideas or suggestions you have would be much appreciated.
brass monkey music We have set up Brass Monkey Music primarily to look for new bands and musicians who aspire to something more than just X factor. So, if you feel you or someone you know fits the bill, or you're just interested in finding out more, please visit the website at www.brassmonkeymusic.com.
thank-you A big thank-you to all of you who have supported us so far. Without your support and encouragement we would never have had the confidence to go into this business we call 'music'. Our ambition is limitless but our funds are not, so we hope you will continue to support us in our efforts to put something back.
welcome Welcome to the igloo, our new souped up, stripped down site that gets to the heart of all things Eskimo Project. Hang five while you familiarise yourself with the new layout and always remember to wear your best sunglasses to prevent snow-blindness.
